Please keep in mind that Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu tickets are limited, and tend to sell out fast. We recommend booking 4-6 months in advance. “Where can i start, this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and big part of it was that we made our tour with Papi’s Trek. Michael’s company was recommended to me by a friend and it was the best choice.
Even though Mike was not our guide, he personally picked us up from the airport to make sure we got to our hotel and that we didnt get ripped off by the taxis. He not only gave us a briefing of what the trek was going to be, but he also showed us around town. He recommended multiple tours and attractions. Our tour guide (Felipe) was pretty awesome too. Very funny, very knowledgeable, and very concerned with our well being throughout the trek. The food was delicious, our tents were always ready and waiting for us for which I have to thank our cook, his assistant and the horseman carrying our equipment. Everything was on time and very well coordinated. Michael took the time to pick us up from the train and went with us for dinner. He then gave us an extensive tour to Machupicchu. He is probably one of the most knowledgeable guides in all Cusco.
