Classic Inca Trail
(4 days / 3 Nights)

The Inca Trail is a 4-day, 3-night guided trek through the Andes mountains to Machu Picchu. The trail was used by the ancient Incas and it follows their footsteps for 25 miles over rugged terrain with altitudes of 13,000 feet. It’s an incredible journey that you won’t soon forget: trekking through the cloud forest, sleeping at campsites overlooking the magnificent Andes mountains, and the sense of personal achievement when finally reaching the Sun Gate making the challenge worthwhile.

At Papi's Treks we specialize in creating memorable experiences for our guests on this trip, from your arrival in Cusco until you leave for the airport. Our knowledgeable local guides will do everything they can to make sure that you enjoy not just your destination but your entire journey—from hiking safely and having a great time doing it to learning more about the Incas.

Note: Inca Trail permits are limited and tend to sell out months in advance, check the current availability in our FAQ: Inca Trail Info and Availability. If you are short on time, there’s also a short Inca Trail option (2 days, 1 night).

I have been on other tours through global companies but was recommended Papi’s treks and they did not disappoint. We chose to do the 4 day Inka trail to Machu Picchu and through the whole process prior, the communication and value for customer service was outstanding. Mike was able to give great information on other things to do around Cusco and took the time to get to know us.

Throughout the trek the team were fantastic(especially the food). Mike was knowledgable, informative and his attention to detail and ability to adapt depending on changing weather, fatigue, fitness levels etc was greatly appreciated!

I would 110% recommend this one. And thank you to the team for making it such a memorable experience:)
